What we collect
- Account details — your phone number or email address, used only to sign you in (OTP-based, we never see a password).
- Birth details — name, date, time and place of birth that you enter to generate a kundli, milan or report. For milan, this includes the second person's birth details you provide.
- Usage data — counts of reports and chat messages used, to apply free-tier limits and subscriptions.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. We store only the subscription/transaction status Razorpay reports to us.
How we use it
Birth details are used to compute astronomical chart positions and to generate AI interpretations. For AI features, chart data (not your contact details) is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or share your details with advertisers.
Where it lives
Your account, saved reports and usage data are stored with Supabase (managed Postgres). Our servers run on Google Cloud (Mumbai region). Recent kundli and chat history may also be cached in your own browser's local storage so pages load instantly — clearing your browser data removes it.
If you choose to connect WhatsApp, we store your WhatsApp number and send you the messages you opted into (e.g. daily rashifal) via Twilio. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or disconnect from the app.
Your choices
You can stop using KaalDarshi at any time. To delete your account and all stored reports, email support@kaaldarshi.com from your registered email, or message us from your registered WhatsApp number — we will delete the data within 30 days.
A note on astrology data
We treat birth details as sensitive personal information: they are used only to produce your reports, are never published, and are not used to profile you for any non-astrology purpose.
